Mevlide lives with her family in Yenigün village, Kadirli district of Osmaniye. Their house suffered minor damage in the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş. Her father works as a small-scale farmer and sells milk to support the family.
In 2023, Mevlide achieved success in the LGS exam and gained admission to Düziçi Fen Lisesi, a prestigious high school in Düziçi district of Osmaniye. She is currently in the 9th grade.
Despite earning a scholarship through a government exam, the scholarship does not cover boarding expenses in her school located in a different district. Mevlide's mother always wanted to pursue education, but her father prevented it and does not want his daughter to marry at an early age.
Currently pregnant with her fifth child, Mevlide's mother, Emel Hanım, desires to educate her daughters. All of her children are successful and diligent in their studies.
