Hamit, who is 12 years old, has lymphocytes in his lungs and lesions in his skull. Additionally, he suffers from asthma and allergies. He lives with his mother and sibling in a container at his grandmother's house. Due to a surgery resulting in a platinum plate in her back, his mother cannot work. She separated from her husband five years ago, and their house collapsed in the earthquake.
