Alperen A. who lives in Kadirli district of Osmamiye, will start school next year. He was diagnosed with kidney disease at birth. Every three months, he and his sister go from Osmaniye to Sakarya for check-ups. Both parents are unemployed.
During the 6th of February earthquakes, their detached house, owned by their father-in-law, suffered severe damage. In the same garden, they built a zinc-coated house with the help of aid and loans. The father, who volunteered during the earthquake, was assigned as a temporary worker in a container city for 18 months with a minimum wage by the district governor's decision. The mother has a thyroid condition and is undergoing treatment. Alperen's kidney condition is currently stable. He needs support for his check-ups and education.
